The teleological action in students and teachers’ interaction

Abstract
This article presents assumptions and results of empirical research aimed at identifying the functioning of the teleological action in students and teachers’ interaction set in school environment and seen from the perspective of the entities involved. The theory of communicative action by Jürgen Habermas became the theoretical basis while the results provided answers to research problems that took form of questions. The question was if and to what extent there was a teleological action between students and teachers in school environment and, subsequently, how it manifested in that environment. There were used various methods in exploration, such as the projection method with the use of the sentence-completion method, the questionnaire method that involved auditorium testing and, furthermore, two research instruments, namely the questionnaires addressed both to teachers and students.
