From the life of the Orthodox Georgian Emigration in the interwar Poland: The case of Bagrationi Family

Abstract

When the Georgia had lost independence a lot of emigration, serviceman and civilians, arrived to Poland. Their fates in the interwar Poland still are the subject of the research of scholars. A civil emigration deserves the particular attention. The subject of the article is the history of one orthodox family of the Georgian emigrants – Bagrationi. Special attention was paid to Nikolai Bagrationi who studied, got married, died and was buried in Warsaw.
